Basketball Recap: Punxsutawney Takes a Loss

Punxsutawney lost against Brookville back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Punxsutawney Chucks were outmatched by the Brookville Raiders and fell 68-33.

Punxsutawney's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Brookville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Punxsutawney will be playing at home against Clarion-Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookville, they will head out on the road to square off against West Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Branch knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Brookville likes a good challenge.
