Softball Recap: Benet Academy Redwings vs. Batavia Bulldogs
Benet Academy won the last time they faced Batavia and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redwings were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redwings.
Gianna Cunningham was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
