Basketball Recap: Kimball Extends Winning Streak to Four

Kimball lost to Vacaville back in December of 2014, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Kimball Jaguars came out on top against the Vacaville Bulldogs by a score of 65-58. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1145th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Kimball's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Vacaville, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Kimball will face off against Modesto Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Vacaville, they will venture away from home to face off against Sacramento at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
