Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Notre Dame's Fourth in Last Five Outings

The Notre Dame Bulldogs beat the Warrenton Warriors 2-0 on Saturday.

Loren Burford paced Notre Dame's offense, picking up five kills. Burford got some help from Joseph Dodson and his 12 assists. Alex Wagoner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Notre Dame has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Warrenton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Notre Dame and Warrenton will both be playing Lutheran South the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Lancers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
