Volleyball Recap: Thompson Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Thompson Valley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Wellington. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Brier Jensen paced Thompson Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Jensen got some help from Dany Alps and her 23 assists. Jensen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Thompson Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Wellington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Thompson Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Berthoud on the 7th. As for Wellington, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Timnath on the 7th.
