Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Lanier

Edison is 1-9 against Lanier since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Golden Bears will host the Voks at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lanier will be up against a hot Edison team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Golden Bears' way against Fox Tech on Tuesday as they made off with a 7-1 victory.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lanier). They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Seguin on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Levis Bernardez as he scored three goals for his team.

Lanier's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1.
