Gilbert came up big in Whale Branch's 51-32 win
Allendale-Fairfax had no answer to Greggory Gilbert on Wednesday as he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 17 rebounds. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was his third in a row with two or more steals. This season, Gilbert has averaged 10.6 points, 1.9 blocks, and 7.4 rebounds per contest.
Gilbert and Whale Branch will be playing at home against Bethune-Bowman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Whale Branch had to take a loss when they last met Bethune-Bowman, but Gilbert had little to do with the loss: he scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks.
