Volleyball Recap: Westview Beats Duchesne for Their Third Straight Victory

Westview waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Duchesne Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Westview's offense was headlined by Riley Dungan and Meadow Leischner, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Rylee Meysenburg and her 11 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Braeli Myers, racking up two apiece.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Duchesne, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Westview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gross Catholic on the 20th. As for Duchesne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Burke on the 20th.
