Softball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley had taken Westwood down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Wolverines took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. The game marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for River Valley and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Westwood, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

River Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-8 victory against Harris-Lake Park on the 14th. As for Westwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-3 loss against Fremont-Mills on the 14th.
