Softball Recap: ITW David Speer Academy Comes Up Short

ITW David Speer Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Red Bud Musketeers.

ITW David Speer Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janelise Cosme, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double was Cosme's first of the season.

ITW David Speer Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Red Bud, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, ITW David Speer Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Red Bud, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Trigg County on the 28th.
