Baseball Game Preview: Heide Trask Titans vs. East Bladen Eagles

The Heide Trask Titans will square off against the East Bladen Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Heide Trask's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Bladen, sneaking past 2-0. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

The result came thanks to Jackson Sadler's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Heide Trask's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 2-1 (and 2-8 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Cooper Uhland was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Matix Wiler, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Heide Trask's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-9. As for East Bladen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
