Basketball Recap: West Stokes Comes Up Short

If West Stokes was feeling good fresh off their 79-41 takedown of Mount Airy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the North Surry Greyhounds by a score of 44-42 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, with their most recent loss being a 49-47 defeat on Tuesday.

West Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for North Surry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither West Stokes nor North Surry have any future games scheduled.
