Basketball Preview: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Hunter Wolverines
Two dominant guards in Kobe Allen and Dominick Phanolath are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Taylorsville Warriors will face off against the Hunter Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Taylorsville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
Taylorsville will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Kearns, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Taylorsville managed a 56-50 victory over Kearns on Friday. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Allen was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Johnson, who posted nine points.

Hunter blew past West Jordan 79-57. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Hunter's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Taylorsville, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
Taylorsville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hunter in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-56 victory.
