Preview: Central Cobras vs. Okeechobee Brahmans
The Central Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Monday.
Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Treasure Coast 57-17 on the road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than LOVELY GABRIEL, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. HARMON RANDOLPH was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Okeechobee came up short against Heritage on Tuesday and fell 56-48. Okeechobee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Central's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Okeechobee, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Central came up short against Okeechobee in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 53-47. Thankfully for Central, Leta Adamo (who scored 15 points along with 4 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
