Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

If University was feeling good fresh off their 67-33 takedown of Clawson last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The University Eagles lost 55-30 to the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-40 back in January.

University now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Bloomfield Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, University will be playing in front of their home fans against Pontiac at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bloomfield Hills, they will venture away from home to challenge Berkley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Berkley likes a good challenge.
