Recap: Prospect Ridge Academy Miners vs. Roaring Fork Rams
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 16 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners proved on Saturday. They blew past Roaring Fork 71-51.
Travis Agbosse was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Schilling, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Roaring Fork's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noel Richardson, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Luis Andrade was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The victory got Prospect Ridge Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Roaring Fork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Prospect Ridge Academy is on the road again on Wednesday and play against DSST: Cedar at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully DSST: Cedar focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday. As for Roaring Fork, they will play host again and welcome Rifle, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rifle is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
