Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Academy Falls to Vernon Hills in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Lake Forest Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Vernon Hills Cougars by a score of 60-57. The Caxys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

While Lake Forest Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
