Bremen kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the East Noble Knights 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Knights are ranked 29th).

Silas Laidig threw for 94 yards on nine of 17 attempts. Tyrus Graverson was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards. On the ground, Carson Anderson rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Dylan Krehl was a one-man wrecking crew for East Noble as he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Krehl's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (1.0 for loss). Alex Scott got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bremen will host Triton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Noble, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Fort Wayne Snider at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
