Football Game Preview: Manatee Hurricanes vs. Southeast Seminoles

The Manatee Hurricanes will square off against the Southeast Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Manatee: 8.8, Southeast: 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Southeast will be up against a hot Manatee team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Manatee never let Palmetto get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Thursday. While the Hurricanes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Southeast beat Braden River 7-0 on Thursday.

Manatee's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Southeast, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Manatee was able to grind out a solid win over Southeast in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 18-6. Will Manatee repeat their success, or does Southeast have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
