On Friday Braxton Sears posted seven points and ten boards, good enough to set a new career-high in rebounds in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was his third in a row with eight or more boards. On the year, he has averaged 7.8 points, 1.7 steals, and 4.2 assists.

Sears and Clarkrange are taking a road trip to face off against Coalfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Yellow Jackets, probably because Sears had a solid game then too: he almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds.
