Basketball Recap: Bremen Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Bremen won the last time they faced Glenn and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bremen Lions were the clear victor by a 57-34 margin over the Glenn Falcons. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Kincaid, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Lawmaster, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

Bremen smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Glenn still got an impressive performance from Daelynn Nance, who went 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Nance a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Weddington, who put up nine points.

Bremen pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Glenn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bremen Lions take on the NorthWood Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bremen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season. As for Glenn, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Marquette Catholic at 7:30 p.m.
