For the second straight game, Ross will face off against Bowling Green. The Little Giants will welcome the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ross' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Bowling Green's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Ross will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Bowling Green, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Little Giants walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bobcats on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Little Giants as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cameron Joseph was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ross is 3-1 when Joseph allows two or fewer hits, but 4-6 otherwise. Joseph was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other pitching news, Ross got a great performance from Karson Kayden as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Kayden also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Little Giants are 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise.
