Football Recap: Pewitt Piles Up the Points Against Alba-Golden

Pewitt entered their tilt with Alba-Golden on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 45-12 win over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Brahmas also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

One reason for the win was Pewitt's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Boone Hodges and Kaden Young, who racked up five sacks between them. Hodges is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.

Pewitt's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Alba-Golden, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
