Volleyball Recap: Rensselaer Central Beats Winamac for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Rensselaer Central waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Winamac Warriors. The Bombers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rensselaer Central took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-10.

Rensselaer Central was led to victory by Emily Louck and Rylie Moore. Louck had 11 digs and three aces, while Moore had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Louck has posted since back in October of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Rensselaer Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive contests.

Rensselaer Central's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Winamac, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Coming up, Rensselaer Central will challenge Boone Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Winamac, they will face off against Northwestern at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
