Springfield barely beat Jackson County Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Huskies get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

With the win, Springfield broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-3. As for Jackson County Central, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Springfield will venture away from home to take on Minnesota Valley Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Jackson County Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-4 victory against Hayfield on the 15th.
