Baseball Recap: West Lutheran Beats St. Agnes for Their Second Straight Victory

Nine must be West Lutheran's lucky number: they beat St. Agnes with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Warriors beat the Aggies by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-7 on Saturday.

The win made it two in a row for West Lutheran and bumps their season record up to 5-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for St. Agnes, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-11.

West Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Agnes, they will face off against Heritage Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
