Basketball Game Preview: East Laurens Falcons vs. North Oconee Titans

The East Laurens Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the North Oconee Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in East Laurens' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Last Saturday, East Laurens didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Calvary Day, but they still walked away with a 62-58 win.

Rashund Washington Jr. was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 36 points and ten rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Tylan Snead was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, North Oconee entered their tilt with Eastside on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Eagles 70-42. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.

North Oconee's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for East Laurens, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
