Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Diego vs. Foothill Tech

The Bishop Diego Cardinals will square off against the Foothill Tech Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bishop Diego managed to keep up with Dunn until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Bishop Diego lost 6-2 to Dunn. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Earwigs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, on ThursdayThacher kept up with Foothill Tech until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Foothill Tech never let Thacher onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Foothill Tech hit Thacher with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Files, Ammar Atiah, and Kaizer Castillo.

Bishop Diego's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2-1. As for Foothill Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Bishop Diego suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Foothill Tech in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Bishop Diego avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
