Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, St. Clair County's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and Shades Valley finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Fighting Saints happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Sylacauga's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three matches. With that draw, St. Clair County's record moves to 4-0-2.
