Basketball Recap: Capitol Hill Redwolves vs. Norman Tigers
Capitol Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Norman Tigers 99-6. While losing is never fun, the Redwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Tigers are ranked second).
Keeley Parks was her usual excellent self, going 13 of 20 en route to 27 points in addition to eight boards and eight steals for Norman. The game was Parks' third in a row with at least ten points. Halyn Browning was another key player, going 8 for 9 on her way to 16 points along with six assists and six steals.
Capitol Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Norman, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Capitol Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 78-7 loss against Choctaw on the 21st. As for Norman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-36 win against Moore on the 21st.
