Seton faced Mason in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Saints put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 3-0 win. The Saints' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Seton took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-10.

Seton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Jones, who had 15 digs and one assist. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 13 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maggie Timmerman, who had eight digs and three aces.

Seton's record is now 20-0. As for Mason, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4.

Looking ahead, Seton will challenge Anderson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason has already played their next matchup (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
