Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Abbotsford, Greenwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Flambeau Falcons 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since September 3, 2024.

Greenwood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-11, 15-12.

The win got Greenwood back to even at 1-1. As for Flambeau, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Greenwood and Flambeau will both be playing Rib Lake the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Redmen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
