Softball Recap: Baldwin Bruins vs. Island Trees Bulldogs
Baldwin had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Island Trees Bulldogs 10-4. This was payback for Baldwin, who suffered a 15-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Kate Heuser made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up four earned runs off ten hits. Heuser has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings every time she's pitched this season.
