Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Benton Panthers
The El Dorado Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Benton Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, El Dorado was able to grind out a solid victory over White Hall, taking the game 52-39.
Meanwhile, Benton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Lakeside 61-37. Benton has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.
El Dorado's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Benton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
El Dorado came up short against Benton in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 36-29. Can El Dorado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
