Recap: Lincoln Leopards vs. Fairfield Falcons
The Lincoln Leopards won the last time they faced the Fairfield Falcons, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lincoln came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairfield and snuck past 50-48.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Calen Wente, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Fowler, who scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The win got Lincoln back to even at 1-1. As for Fairfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Lincoln will face off against Stafford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Otis-Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
