Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Losses at Home

While Lincoln's victory against Willow Glen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lincoln sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Willow Glen on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Lincoln took Willow Glen into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 19-25, 15-6.

Lincoln's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Willow Glen, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lincoln has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Live Oak on the 20th. As for Willow Glen, they will challenge Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
