Softball Recap: Minneapolis Southwest Takes a Loss

Minneapolis Southwest lost against Richfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lakers came up short against the Spartans, falling 11-3. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Minneapolis Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Richfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Minneapolis Southwest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Edison on the 13th. As for Richfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-11 win against St. Anthony Village on the 13th.
