Volleyball Recap: Dover's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Dover lost against Windham back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Green Wave fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The loss put an end to the Green Wave's undefeated start to the season.

Dover wouldn't go down easily and took Windham into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-27, 25-19, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Dover still got an impressive performance from Ayla Raynor, who had 22 digs and three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dover fell to 4-1. As for Windham, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will square off against rival Goffstown at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Windham is set to challenge their familiar foe Spaulding at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
