On Friday, Normangee came up short against Cushing and fell 47-36. Normangee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Normangee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dallas Jones, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Jones scored a full 30.6% of Normangee's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Pj Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.

Normangee's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cushing, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Normangee's road trip will continue as they head out to face Winona at 10:20 a.m. on December 2nd. Winona comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Cushing, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Slocum at 7:30 p.m.
