Football Game Preview: Kidder County Wolves vs. LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes

The Kidder County Wolves will square off against the LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Kidder County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 36-28 victory over Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Kidder County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Preston Fischer led the charge by picking up 148 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. That's the most receiving yards Fischer has posted since back in August. Another rusher making a difference was Mason Whitman, who rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion faced Four Winds in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Loboes simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indians 68-16. Fans of the Loboes have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kidder County's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Everything went Kidder County's way against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion when the teams last played back in September of 2018, as Kidder County made off with a 48-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
