Soccer Recap: Wheat Ridge Victorious

After failing to score in their last match, Wheat Ridge made sure to put some goals up on the board against Arvada on Thursday. They never let the Arvada Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Farmers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Wheat Ridge's offense was hitting Arvada from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Caroline Darrow led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Wheat Ridge's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-2. As for Arvada, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Wheat Ridge will square off against St. Mary's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arvada will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Arrupe Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on March 26th.
