Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maclay). They blew past the Marianna Bulldogs 9-1 on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Gray Burleson as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the third in a row for Maclay, bringing their record for this year to 10-3-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Marianna, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1.

Maclay wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Port St. Joe on the 30th. Marianna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
