Volleyball Recap: Greater Johnstown Comes Up Short

Greater Johnstown lost against Forest Hills on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers.

Forest Hills can attribute much of their success to Morgan Gdula, who had six aces and four digs. That's the most aces Gdula has posted since back in November of 2024.

Greater Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Forest Hills, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2-1.

Looking ahead, Greater Johnstown will face off against Ferndale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forest Hills, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Central Cambria on the 13th.
