Volleyball Recap: Panama Find Success

Panama won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Red & Green.

Panama was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 21-25, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Jamestown lost, don't look at Maylin Cuifolo. Despite the final result, she had 42 assists and ten digs. Another player making a difference was Reagan Volpe, who had ten digs and seven kills.

Panama's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Jamestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panama will take on Westfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jamestown, they will face off against Olean at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
