Football Recap: West Greene Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Greene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between the Pioneers and the Carmichaels Mighty Mikes didn't end well, with the Pioneers falling 28-14. If the Pioneers were looking for revenge after losing 19-6 to the Mighty Mikes when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, West Greene still got an impressive performance from Joel Rizor, who rushed for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Rizor was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards.

West Greene's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Carmichaels, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
