Baseball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

Wilmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Western Brown Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on April 7th.

Wilmington's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Western Brown, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilmington will host New Richmond at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Brown, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m.
