Coal City entered their tilt with Indian Creek on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Timberwolves. Considering the Coalers have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Coal City's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Indian Creek, they dropped their record down to 3-15-1 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Coal City will venture away from home to challenge Manteno at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Creek, they will head out to face off against Earlville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
