Basketball Recap: Perry Central Has No Trouble Against Pike Central

On Tuesday, everything went the Perry Central Commodores's way against the Pike Central Chargers as the Perry Central Commodores made off with a 55-34 victory. Given the Commodores' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Chargers are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Pike Central lost, don't look at Nate Davis. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakob Newkirk, who posted six points and seven rebounds.
