Softball Recap: Hartsville Red Foxes vs. Wilson Tigers
There's no place like home for Hartsville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Wilson Tigers with a sharp 10-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Red Foxes have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Allie Bailey tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Myah Harvey was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in triples (two). Another player making a difference was Jaysha McCullough, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Hartsville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilson only posted an OBP of .176.
Hartsville's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Wilson, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartsville will welcome Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crestwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
