Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Takes a Loss

Wilkinson County lost against Amite County last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wilkinson County Wildcats took a 37-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Amite County Trojans.

Wilkinson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Amite County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

Wilkinson County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-64 victory against West Lincoln on the 3rd. As for Amite County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-36 loss against Loyd Star on the 4th.
